Burlap Table Runner
Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I enjoyed a relaxing and fun filled weekend with my family. We have so much to be thankful for! I just wanted to share another quick holiday project with you. I actually finished this last week but didn’t have time to post about it, so I’m sharing it now. I wanted to dress up my dining table a bit in preparation for the big Thanksgiving meal. My table is pretty rustic looking and I didn’t have a need for a full tablecloth, so I decided on a simple runner, instead. My table is also a little bit longer than standard, and it’s hard to find the right size runner “off the rack” so I decided to sew my own. Since I’m investing my precious time and energy, I wanted something that would be versatile enough to use throughout the holiday season. What’s more versatile than trusty ol’ burlap?
I think it added just the right touch to my Thanksgiving table, and will transition nicely into the “rustic-refined” decor I have planned for Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, I’m excited to share some new projects with you! I’ll be back soon!
I love the natural look of your table runner. Burlap has such a great texture. I love using it to make pillows. Thank you for inspiring me to try my hands at something else. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thank you, Brandi! Happy New Year to you and yours…
