With Independence Day right around the corner, I decided to it was time to find a way to properly display our US flag in front of our home.  My plan was to hang a bracket on the trim of our house that our flag could slide snuggly into, dressing up the front

Dining Room Makeover Reveal

Our dining room makeover is finally finished and it’s time for the big reveal!  Yay!  It has been a long, slow process, but that’s just the way it goes around here sometimes.  There are a few things I’d like to change (add a rug, change the accessories on top of the hutch),

My “Word” For 2014

Honored, and Looking Ahead…

Happy Monday, everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  I enjoyed a whole lot of time with immediate and extended family, eating, drinking, shopping, eating, and hanging out.  And did I mention, eating?  My sweet daughter celebrated her 17th birthday just two days after Christmas, so it was a very
